LOCATION: Nick Ascenzo HALL, Thomastown. DESCRIPTION: This is a Line Dance class designed to train the memory as BRAIN GYM, in order to minimise Dementia risk. This is not a Beginner’s class. Applicants need to have done Line Dancing before, with knowledge of various dance call out terms. The course structure is Line Dances choreographed to rhythms of Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Tango, Salsa, Rock N Roll, Country, Foxtrot, Bachata, & Merengue, mostly to music of the 50’s & 60’s. You will be required to watch recommended You Tube video clips between classes, in order to recall the lesson. Like in physical gym, brain gym should be done more than once a week!
